INTRODUCTION
Drinking natural healthy waters has now become fashionable in the whole world.
Also, 100 years ago, it became a custom to visit spas because of treatment, drinking of waters, or even losing weight.
The use of natural healthy waters for maintenance of health and treatment has gone down in history B.C. We know about those waters out of data mentioned 8,000 years B.C. with Chinese, Egyptians, Arabs Celts and other ancient peoples.
A lot of natural mineral waters were discovered in our spaces during theRoman Empire. Now, these waters are also used in Vrnjacka banja, Gamzigrad banja, Sokobanja, Brestovacka banja, Vranjska banja and others.
Traditional reason for drinking mineral waters, especially inEurope, was their mineral composition and bacteriological soundness what is important for maintenance and improvement of health. Some renowned mineral waters like Evian in……..
Research-exploitation of IEBGB-2 well was performed in Gornji Banjani village,GornjiMilanovacMunicipality, on 688/1 lot, which is in possession of “Zlatna voda” (Golden Water) Firm.
Gornji Banjani village is situated between Rajac and Suvobor mountains in thevalleyofMala DicinaRiver, which connects, downstream from IEBGB-2 location, withVelikaDicinaRiver, makingDicinaRiver. A local asphalt road leads from Gornji Milanovac, 24 km distant, to Gornji Banjani village.
The works on well IEBGB-2 boring were performed by “Srbija bunar” (Serbia Well) Firm on the basis of a contract made between Zivan Ristovic, owner of “Zlatna voda” (Golden Water) Firm, as investor or works and, Aleksandar Kostic, owner of “Srbija bunar” (Serbia Well) Firm as contractor. The boring of well was done in the period of the 2nd and the 3rd of December, 2010, and the works on installation of well construction were performed on the 11th and the 12th of January, 2011.
After making of research-exploitation well IEBGB-1 and obtaining more than satisfactory results regarding quality and quantity of oligo-mineralized water, Mr. Zivan Ristovic, owner of “Zlatna voda” firm, decided for investment into another research-exploitation well.
New research-exploitation well IEBGB-2 was performed in order to provide bigger capacity of water in the bottling department. Making another well, the investor eliminated a possibility of temporary cessation of work of bottling if, in the future, there might be a need for repair of sinking pump, or some other unexpected problems in the work of these two wells.
On the terrain where the wells were made, as well as in a wider area of Gornji Banjani village, there are not industrial objects, and other potential polluters of air, ground, and subterranean waters. The whole surroundings represent a healthy ecological environment.
The drilling of IEBGB-2 well was made by forcing rotational method with the use of compressed air as a working fluid.The bore, 125 m depth, and 0 190 mm diameter, was made. In the bore, a well construction was built –in out of full pro-chromic pipes, 139,7 mm diameter, and bridge like filter, 139,7 mm diameter.
A cementation was performed from the surface of the terrain to the depth of 23m because of isolation of water horizon from surface waters.
At the end, a sinking pump Subline F 10-19 brand was built-in.
The data were taken from the “Report on Performed Research-Production IEBGB-2 Well in Gornji Banjani,GornjiMilanovacMunicipality” by Gordana Ljubicic, B.Sc.Geol.E.
In the course of working out of the well by airlift system, an abundance of over 8 l/sec was stated.

III CHEMICAL ANALYSES
Cations: has complex cation composition where calcium dominates with 68,2 mg/L or 52,46 mval% and magnesium with 35,3 mg/l or 45,24 mval %, while sodium is in very small quantities
Anions: anion composition is predominately made of bicarbonates with 336 mg/L or 88,02 mval%
Weak Electrolytes: present in very small quantities
Dissolved Gases: present in small quantity
IV. PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE MICROELEMENTS AND POLLUTERS
Physiologically active microelements are usually present in small quantities. Among heavy metals and toxic elements there is no value that passes allowed quantities.
Water can be used for drinking.
V. RADIOACTIVITY
In oligo-mineral water from IEBGB-2 bore, radioactivity is in natural values so,
water can be used for drinking.
VI.MICROBIOLOGICAL RESEARCHES
The obtained values of microbiologically tested parameters correspond to allowed
values according to the Regulations on Quality of Mineral Waters, “Official
Gazette of SCG,” from 2005.
VII. CLASSIFICATION
Water from IEBGB-2 well from Gornji Banjani belongs to ballneological classification: CALCIUM-MAGNESIUM-HYDROCARBON-COLD-OLIGO-MINERAL WATERS, and according to the Regulations on Quality and Other Requests for Natural Mineral Water, Natural Spring and Table Water, “Official Gazette of SCG,” No. 53/2005, it is water with low contents of dissolved minerals, Article 9/2
OPINION ON BALNEOLOGICAL VALUES OF OLIGO-MINERAL WATER
FROM IEBGB-2 WELL IN GORNJI BANJANI, GORNJI MILANOVAC
Oligo-mineral water “Banjani-2” has low contents of dissolved mineral materials and perfect bacterial purity. Organoleptic test showed that the water excels with extremely refreshing taste and temperature of 12,5°C.
It has suitable mineral composition with a little sodium and nice quantities of calcium, magnesium and hydrocarbon what has favourable effect on digestion process and bowel peristalsis. When bigger quantities of water are drunk, it has diuretic effect and throws harmful substances out of organism, such as urinary acid, sodium chloride and nitrogen. In that way, it “rinses” kidney channels and prevents formation of kidney sand and stones.
The water should be used in dietetic programs for reducing weight, since it contains small quantities of sodium chloride. Due to its diuretic effect, it is very suitable for persons with heart ailments and hypertension. All population, from babies and small children up to very old people, can use this water. With the above mentioned distinctions, the water can be compared with well-known, for a long time, “Evian” water.
This natural water should be bottled as a table mineral water for mass consumption of drinking. Thus, Gornji Milanovac would get a significant factory of healthy water and juices.

I. ORGANOLEPTIC FINDING
1. Colour: water is clear
2. Smell: without smell
3. Taste: very pleasant

II.PHYSICO-CHEMICAL AND BASIC CHEMICAL INDICATORS
Temperature: water temperature amounts to 12,5°C, so it belongs to a group of cold waters.
Colour and Muddiness: colour (ºPt-Co scale) and muddiness (NTU) have value <0,5 degrees, i.e. units
pH value: water gives neutral reaction with pH = 7,25
Electric Conductivity: conducts current with 460 μS/cm² as oligo-mineral water
Mineralization: total mineralization amounts to 490 mg/L, and dry residue on 180°C is 330 mg/l, so it belongs to a group of oligo-mineral water
